I can see the reactions to this already, Maga will go nuts because clearly Trump cannot spell our doom and as for Harris, well they cannot see beyond the end of their noses with regard to the job this woman has not done since taking office as vice-president.
But this isn’t about their careers or whatever drama those today want to discuss about their favorite candidate; it is about how they will govern and the danger they can be to everyone. Kind of a hidden danger since the majority are not paying attention.
It isn’t congress where most of my concern is. It is with these two as individuals. Both will govern using executive orders more than they will getting agreement from congress. We already should be aware of this from past presidents, including Trumps where he signed 220 executive orders.
Harris just said Tuesday night how she was going to pass legislation on uniform background checks, red flag laws and an assault weapons ban. I will save these talking points for another time. But anyone who spends 5 minutes educating themselves they would find there are already background checks required when purchasing any gun, red flag laws are truly unconstitutional and I am not referring to only the second amendment and lastly, will everyone get it in their head there is no such thing as an assault weapon. Finally, yes when the second amendment was passed private citizens could and did own cannons. But Harris did say she would accomplish those things starting out with executive orders.
Executive orders will be the real threat to our republic in 2024. Far too often they have been used to go around congress and implement a rule, the supreme court approves and then the executive order becomes enforceable as if it was a law. Yet, out constitution clearly says laws are to be made and passed only by congress through the representation of the people. Every time the supreme court allows an executive order to stand they go around congress and the constitution.
Biden has currently signed 141 executive orders, this is the least since Bill Clinton was president; where he signed 138. Clinton had two terms, eight years in office to get to the 138. Obama signed 277 throughout his eight years. Trump 220 in a single four year term. Trump built a wall on an executive order funneling money from other areas. This violated the budgeting laid out by congress as is a constitutional requirement yet the supreme court allowed a president to change how congress legally said the money was to be spent.
Throughout the next term in office expect executive orders to create massive change in your life and our government. I don’t care if it is Harris or Trump they are both throwing out how they will use executive orders to get the job done. You may agree with that now because you think they are going to do what you want; however you will learn often what you ask for rarely looks like what you actually asked for.
Yet today the main stream and even off the wall media outlets are not writing about the executive order claims. They don’t want you to know about them and they are not going to be the ones to tell you about them. You aren’t paying attention and you don’t care as long as you think you are going to get what you want.
I don’t know about you or anyone else but executive orders are unconstitutional for passing anything enforceable as if it was a law. Rules created by departments cannot be allowed to be enforced as if they are laws. We must get back to our constitution if we want our freedom and liberty back. There is no other way to obtain what was lost.
