To understand why we have to look at all the reasons for choosing the feature picture of this post. Before I start to be very clear, I know Trump was shot and I better than most understand the full scope of the impact on life moving forward than a majority today. However, reading the headlines and conjecture on what happened I can only imagine people of other countries seeing people from the movie Police Academy or days of old when my parents and grandparents watch movies with Keystone Cops.
To listen to what is being said about the Trump assassination attempt I give you
- There were two shooters
- Secret Service knew of the shooter an hour before any shots were fired
- The shooter bought the ladder and ammo the day of the shooting
- Narrative around “line of sight” with varying degrees of understanding what the truly means
- Shooter flew a drone the day of the event over the event compound
- The woman in back of Trump, black hair, white hat was suspicious because she didn’t fly down and got out her camera. Later they add she works for the government and gave a nod to the shooter saying it was time to shoot.
- It was an inside job
- Shooters parents called in a missing person when the shooter did not return home “in time” from the “shooting range”
- Secret Service denied Trump extra security when he requested it
- Secret Service “Failed” Trump
- Secret Service wasn’t protecting Trump, it was Homeland Security
I quit there as there are really too many to keep track of today. But they want you to believe that Secret Service knew of the shooter before hand; that they were made aware of the shooter before shots were fired and that the police on ground did absolutely nothing. Meaning every security personnel on site, local and Secret Service were working together to make sure Trump was killed.
So let’s look at number one. There were two shooters. Really are we to believe Secret Service is so incompetent there were two shooters and not one? Redacted is the only one who attempts to give any details how there could be two shooters the rest just simply make the claim and dismiss giving any logical thought about it. Redacted used someone to interview who did attempt to give logic based on distances. However, we cannot take anything they are releasing as factual at this point in time so it is pure speculation. There has been nothing released to indicate this person to think anyway possible there were two shooters.
Number two. So Secret Service knows of someone walking around acting “strange”. Because of this they are to conclude the “strange” walking around is going to be an assassination attempt, ergo take him out when they were notified. Walking around alone anywhere is not “strange” and cannot even be considered not normal. We cannot become a country who kills or detains people just because you find it “strange” I or anyone else is walking alone anywhere.
Number three. Who cares when the shooter bought the ammo and ladder? What does when he makes the purchase have to do with the chain of events? I know, he was “strange” walking alone, Secret Service should have taken two of their limited pool of a security detail and had the follow him everywhere he went. They then would have known precisely when he bought the ammo and ladder and could have stopped him before shooting. Really, odd someone goes to the store and buys a ladder and ammo; lock pretty much up everyone out there as I am sure they bought many strange things when they bought ammo.
Number four. Line of sight. Most do not know what it means or how complex it would be to remove every field where a potential shooter would have line of sight to assassinate someone. These people do not understand a sniper could take Trump out from a mile away in the trees. How the hell to do you prevent that line of site at even 15 degree intervals covering 360 degrees. The shooter was NOT a professional sniper. Hell he wasn’t even military.
Number five. Shooter flew a drone over the event area on the day of the event. Bullshit! Those who can say line of sight can’t understand that event had a specific area deemed a no fly zone and the drone would of been caught well before hand. Perimeter security would have caught someone walking the grounds with a drone.
Number six. The woman in back of Trump. No she did not work for the government, no she did not give the shooter a nod. And finally no, there was nothing odd today about someone getting out a phone to record the events happening. That I would think to be abnormal today if she had not gotten out her phone to record. Where the hell do you think the footage comes from we do have? People getting out their phones and recording it. Wow can people be stupid at times.
Number seven. It was an inside job. This doesn’t even get any rebuttal from me; it is that stupid of a concept. Okay, just one… So you want me to believe there was someone inside who worked with a non-professional to assassinate an ex-president?
Number eight. The parents called in a missing person. Bullshit and bullshit again. The majority would know you cannot call in a missing person before 24 hours have lapsed except in the case of juvenile children and you have reason to believe the child was abducted. Now believe parents called in a missing child that was 20 years old? Really. If my child didn’t come home and was 18 I wouldn’t blink an eye unless I suspected something was wrong, very wrong. They are adults and free to come and go as they please and as a parent there is really nothing you can do about it. That is called adulthood.
Number nine. Secret Service denied extra protection. Listen, ex-presidents are extended secret service protection after they leave office. Frankly I’m not so sure we as taxpayers should be required to pay this bill. But it is what happens. They however are limited to a specific size detail. Yet, no one seems to question why Trump would request more protection? Did Trump know about someone planning to assassinate him? Did Trump of proof there would be increased change someone would assassinate him? What did Trump’s team know to recommend this request?
Number ten. Secret Service “Failed” Trump. Is Trump living and breathing? Last I checked, so there was no failure on the part of their job to protect Trump. Yes, there were all kinds of mistakes in how certain events were handled and that is a failure on Secret Service not a failure to Trump. This only speaks to show Trump wants to be King and wants complete loyalty to him and only him.
Number eleven. Secret Service wasn’t protecting Trump; Homeland Security was. Is anyone else getting the complete and utter joke that one statement is? I don’t care if you are military, secret service, homeland security, a police officer and even a security guard. We all know and are trained on what it means to protect, defend and advance. We know when protection is for a place, an area or a person and we all will respond accordingly to our given orders. Hell, even the movie Saving Private Ryan shows how those gave their life because the order was to protect and return Private Ryan.
The biggest independent joke in all of this is Dan Bongino. Why is he such a joke, because Dan was once employed by Secret Service and now everything he says shows to the world that Secret Service is nothing more than a bunch of Keystone Cops.
