Blizzard Season 5 Disasters

Imagine running the capstone dungeon in the Fractured Peaks, pushing to get to World Tier 3, when suddenly you find yourself with one opponent remaining that is so well hidden you cannot find them, you cannot see them, you cannot attack them; yet a ghost of one you already killed is there hitting you and you are taking damage. You suddenly find yourself in a dungeon, you cannot leave in anyway; left only to hit ‘esc’ and exit the game. Yes, this is real and did happen to me on my first run with the first character this season.

This shows the quality of programming coming out of Blizzard these days. No access to report bugs unless you are part of their specially selected team of content creators who they give access to reporting bugs. Clearly they don’t care if you the common player, the one who signs their paycheck through your purchases, encounters problems/bugs and can report them. Hell, don’t even go there that they “care” what you want from the game. They don’t.

I’ve completed the full 20 levels of season 5 to be given once again a single resplendent spark. Talk about disappointing a player. In season 4 I built four characters taking them fully through the season in order to get four resplendent sparks allowing me to craft my FIRST ever “Uber Unique”, Tyreal’s Might was my choice. Finally after playing the game for a year I had one of those long sought after “Uber Unique” items. Joy was to be short lived.

Blizzard decided the tempering and master crafting invalidated these uber unique items giving us a completely reworked new item called “Mythic” items. This choice makes my one item I worked my ass off to create invalid and useless. Blizzard or those content creators don’t give a shit about the hours I spent playing this game to get one; they got what they wanted, better ones and now without even a single fleeting thought on the part of the developers they wasted hours upon hours upon hours of players time to now have something the is no longer valid in the game.

The season pass is a joke, well to me they have to be joking. Those bonuses they give to boost experience and other things throughout the season journey; what good are they when you can’t have them all until you are level 98? Great, I have all these bonuses now for other characters I create this season should I decide to once again create four characters to get four resplendent sparks to create another mythic item. But I have to ask myself today why bother putting in all that effort. Blizzard will just decide they need to change it and invalidate another item I spent hours to get.

The random drop on these items is so high vegas can make trillions on lines of chance to obtain one; and players would lost those trillions.

In season five the sorcerer is still the bastard child. Dies the easiest, has the worst drop rates, and skills are so convoluted the one with power changes per season. Electric in season 3, cold in season 2, fire in season 4 (if you have all the right items), this one is mixed skills. But to some extent that is every class.

Season 5 we see rogue leading the s tier builds. So what did they do to drop the barbarian? Necro, kind of okay, Druid well they killed the storm claw build and there really hasn’t been a good build since then.

Blizzard programmers are a joke. They have a game they changed so much they are incapable of keeping control of the damage and mechanics of the game. The primary focus of Blizzard today is put more content on top of crap programming then months later try to untangle the code to make the game playable.

What we see in Diablo 4 will remain for the next 5 years or more. Until Blizzard decides quality of game comes first and then content; they will only chase the money until the game dies and die it will.

You already have what is for me a black market. People selling resources for real money. I mean they are selling gold because it is so difficult to keep and do the basic things in the game such as create gems or try to get aspects you really need for your build. All kinds of items and resources are for sale for real cash. Simply pay for it, they then come into the game and give you what you bought through the trade system.

What a bullshit way to claim you have a game.
