I am sure many will argue that Trump won the debate last night against Kamala Harris. If they aren’t saying Trump won then they are saying how the debate was “rigged”, “unfair”, and every other victim word you can think of. However, Trump looked and sounded like a chihuahua needing a muzzle and a leash.
Neither candidate really answered a single question asked. Trump however took every piece of bait Harris threw at him; everything Trump said was negative about Biden and/or Harris or in complete defense of himself and past actions.
Trump couldn’t capitalize even when we watched Harris spew word salad that had zero meaning or context. I mean really an answer to stopping the war between Hamas and Israel was “we need a peace agreement with all hostages released.” What the hell kind of answer is that? Yet, Trump had the perfect opportunity to capitalize on that kind of response only to bark and nip at the heels of everyone other than himself; always refusing to answer a simple and direct question.
How hard was it to answer the question “Would you do anything different than you did on January 6th?”. Hell that barking, nipping chihuahua could not even say yes or no then move on. Trump if answering yes would not of even had to move on to what he would do differently since they were not asking what they asked would. Saying no would have prevented any kind of followup question having any teeth. No, not Trump; he had to go into a tirade about how he WON the election. Really, every court case brought by you was denied. Every major attorney who represented you is now looking for jobs and you still say you won. Again, that may play into the hands of those who already support you but it doing nothing to get more voters to support you. You need more voters to support you to win this election.
Personally I did not watch much of the debate. Once it was announced ABC would be moderating, I knew it was rigged and they would play Trump like Beethoven played the 5th. They did just what I already knew weeks ago would happen and Trump obliged doing everything they wanted him to do. Trump made a complete fool of himself and everyone involved in his campaign.
Trump portrayed someone who does not want to win in 2024. I believe reality is he no longer wants to be president. Really, you think I am nuts for that opinion. Reality I watched Trump the last eight years, he is not stupid and he is fantastic playing the crowds. I witnessed this talent completely absent in this debate. He was a bumbling fool out there. Hell Trump, if you don’t want to be president then pull the hell out or just get on stage and say “I’m voting for Harris”. You spent 1.5 hours last night giving everyone a thousand reasons why you are not the answer. One and one-half hours showing you cannot stay focused on issues; you can only bash on what others have done; you still are a narcissist and reaching demented with the stories and defense you use.
J. D. Vance, I never really liked you as I believe your book was about money and not reality. Your story is true and you are successful; however, it was years ago you forgot who you really are. Now you put all your cards on Trump and the end result is they are already looking for someone to be the leader of the Republican Party and you’re not even on the list anymore.
RFK Jr., you sold out. You were faced with a choice to continue your campaign as at one point you believed you could create change in government and society. You were on a roll even lacking support. But instead of pushing forward with your vision you decided to jump on the Trump train and now when this is all over you can go back into the woodwork and remain there. Credibility is lost and everyone is now asking were you even serious about your campaign from the start.
Two more careers destroyed by a narcissist ex-President. After all Trump feels he didn’t destroy enough people when he was in office he had to finish some off claiming a stolen election while playing the victim. And now he is on target to destroy himself and everyone associated with him. After all in this world in Trump’s mind there is ONLY TRUMP!
